LREC 2018 is the eleventh edition of the Language Resources and Evaluation Conference, biennially organized by ELRA with the support of institutions and organisations involved in HLT since 1998. Over 1200 participants coming from 50+ countries – mainly European countries - attended the eighth edition of LREC in Portorož in 2016  and we expect an audience in excess of 1200 participants from academic and industrial institutions for LREC 2018.

LREC is a biennial event, organised by ELRA, the European Language Resources Association, with the collaboration of major international institutions and organisations. It brings together a large number of academic and industrial players who are active for the Research and Development in HLT and in HLT evaluation.
